New Silhouette Cutting Files - Butterfly Trail

Well it's taken me most of the day but I have finally worked out how to upload my own designs (cutting files) for the Silhouette. So I have added a new page which will show all the stuff I am going to share. There are a few rules and you can find them on the download page.

Here is my first design and you can Download it free from Here or by clicking on the Silhouette download tab towards the top of my blog:

For the card I have used Centura Pearl (blade setting 6) and placed a piece of pink glitter card behind the cut out. The glitter card is held in place with eyelets but it can be glued in place if you prefer. I added little crystals randomly around the trail. Although it doesn't show too well it all looks very sparkly.

I left the card blank as I think its a good one for any occasion (I used it for a Birthday card).

Baby Girl Card

Well, thankfully its Friday night at last. It's felt like a really long week because we didn't get much rest over the Bank Hols. All three kitties became poorly with gastroenteritis with Bobo being the worst affected. He started with it last Saturday and it was all downhill from there. All three are back to normal now so hopefully this weekend will be more relaxing.

Anyway, this card was made from a file purchased from MyScrapChick.com and although it is a box it was easily adapted to make a card which was cut out on the Cameo. Here is a link to the file I purchased: My Scrap Chick

Once all the items had been cut out I added some pencil to the face, arms and feet just to highlight area's and then it was just a case of trying to stick the right pieces in the right places.

I mostly used scrap pieces of card / paper and then Candi on the headband and flower. Here is the finished card:
