Another gorjuss image

Only a couple more of these left to finish which luckily covers me for family and friends birthdays up to around May time (unless I have forgotten someone).

Just the swirl stamp again with copper Perfect Pearls. I may re-mount this onto dark brown card and then a black card rather than the white it is on at the moment but I am going to leave it alone for now to see if it grows on me first.

Guess who got a new spice rack delivered this week....and guess who claimed the box....

This is Bobo who is obsessed with boxes and bags no matter how small they are. He has sat in them all, handbags, shopping bags, brief cases (the sales guy was not amused) and shoe boxes - if its a bag or a box then it belongs to Bobo!!

Dusting off the Cameo

It's been a long week this week and I thought the weekend would never arrive but it's here and I have two whole days off.

Had a lovely atc from Turlemoon from the Docraft forum this week though which really made my day (thank you very much). This is going to become part of another large picture I am putting together to go with three others I made up a few years ago.

I had to make a quick birthday card for a male colleague who is 30 tomorrow so I dusted off the Cameo to make a quick background, added a digital image coloured with Promarkers and added the sentiment. I cut the numbers out of the backing paper and mounted this onto blue card and then onto brown card.

Rather than throw away the numbers I decided to stick them inside the card on a plain white insert:

And just to finish off this post, look at who visited me a couple of days ago. Its lovely to see the wildlife starting to visit the gardens now that the building work has moved further away from us. This is at the front of my house and we have a long line of these berry bushes.

Here is my latest gorjuss card. I used the same flourish stamp as on the other cards and highlighted with white liquid pearls. The flower (sunflower) was cut from bits of card I had left over in my stash but I think I will be adding a Candi to the centre just to make it stand out a little more. I decided against a sentiment on the front this time and will leave the inside blank so I can use it for any occasions.

Has anyone got any crafty bargains yet in the sales? I treated myself to some Makey Bakey Mice stuff from Crafters Companion but that's about it at the moment. Visited The Range the other morning but none of the crafting stuff was on sale.

My first card today is another gorjuss decoupage one. The small paper panel is from a papercellar 6x6 pack called Victorian Burgundy while the larger paper panel came with the decoupage kit. Layered both onto black card and mounted onto white card.

I used the flourish stamp again and highlighted area's with white liquid pearls. The flower is the sunflower I always seem to be using (cut from the Cameo) with a Candi added to the centre and gloss to highlight the top petals. Three black jewels added to finish it off.

Pretty much the same for the next card with pink liquid pearls on the flourish and Washi tape across the centre. I used an accordion sticker from a Dovecraft back to basics pack.

Well, I still have several more images from the pack to make up but at least I will have lots of cards to send out to friends next year.
