The clocks go back this weekend

This card was a quick card to make but I really like it just because I will be able to use it as a Birthday card or as a Thank you card. I just layered up the last gorjuss girl image I had left over, stamped the sides of the background paper and added perfect pearls.

I have really like making up the gorjuss girls decoupage packs so I decided to buy a few of the stamps to play with. Not had the chance to get them out of the package yet but maybe over the Christmas holidays I will get a little more time. (As far away as that seems it's actually less than 9 weeks away!).

Anyway, don't forget the clocks go back an hour this weekend. Enjoy your weekend everyone and thanks for popping by x

Finally.....

Well, I have managed to finally finish a few cards and take photo's so I can participate in this weeks blog hop on Docrafts.

I was looking to create a card that I could do multiples of, albeit in different colour schemes, so I could build up a little stock for those last minute moments when you suddenly realise its a friends birthday the next day...(or does that just happen to me).

The burgundy card is from Papermill and is beautiful to emboss. I used the Tied Together embossing folder and added liquid pearls to the centres. The burgundy card was then mounted on white card. The flower is the good ole Sunflower I have used many times - it's actually pink but it hasn't photo'd too well.

The sentiment was cut out on the Cameo but the great thing about this layout is I can change it to whatever occasion I need a card for so I think I am going to leave this section blank on the next few cards.

Well, I am hoping to get a little more crafting done tomorrow afternoon so hope you all have a lovely weekend x
