Die'sire Create A Card - Toulouse

I wanted to share with you another card I made with the fabulous new Die'Sire Create A Card dies.

This time I tried something a little different ad incorporated acetate into the card and made a matching envelope which I love. I kept the colours light and bright, they don't show up very well but it is a metallic blue and silver colour against white centura pearl card - I think this would make a fantastic wedding invitation:

It's Crafter's Companion's 10th Birthday and boy are they celebrating it in style. I have seen lots of giveaways on Facebook already so pop over there if you want a chance to winning some fantastic goodies,

In the meantime I get to give you a sneak peek of the fabulous new Create A Card Wrap Around Die's. I would struggle to pick a favourite one because just the one die can make so many different things.

So I have opted to show you the following just because I wanted to show you some of the various things made with one die. So here is a card, envelope, gift tag and gift card holder all made with the Beatrice Die

Anyway, the card I want to share with you today is another Christmas card and it has been made using one of the gorgeous edge'able die's from Crafter's Companion and one of the Christmas Words die's. These two both fit so well together I just had to incorporate them into one card:

I used burgundy and gold card and gilding wax to highlight the edge'able words. I embossed the gold card used on the outside of the card and just added a ribbon and gem.

What a lovely sunny day it is now that the fog has lifted. So far today I have picked up a few bargains from Ikea this  morning and popped into B & Q for a bacon buttie! Now I have to get into gear and start working on a new project (more news on this in a few weeks).

On to today's post. I want to share with you an Accordian card I made a few months ago. These are the Die'sire die's and overlays. While the card itself was easy to put together, taking a decent photograph proved to be a little more difficult.

I went for a double sided look, here is the green side:

And here is the purple side:

I managed to get glitter absolutely everywhere when making this one, even on the cat.
