How hard are men's cards??!!

In all the years I have been card making this is the first time I have managed to make a men's card that I am happy with, previously I have gone for the easy option and just bought them.  This one has taken me over a week to finally finish.

I made this for a chap I work with and I hope he will like it - the sentiment is quite fitting for him (I think it is anyway).

The digi image is a gorgeous image from Bugaboo and is called Gus. He does come with hair but I removed it for this particular card. The image is coloured with Promarkers.

Here he is:

  17. This card is just brilliant. The image is fab and I recognise the sentiment from an Art Impressions stamp (I love their cheeky sentiments). And the tartan background with black accents works really well.
