Anyway, this was my first attempt at a box card and was for my mother in law for Mothers day.
The box was made from one piece of A4 card and decorated with papers from a Dovecraft 8 x 8 paper pack called Curiosty Corner. The flowers and butterflies are all cut using the Cameo and I used acetate strips to give more volume to the box:
I used Candi in the centre of each flower and Perfect Pearls in the butterflies. In the next photo you can see a butterfly in the right hand corner of the box which has been attached to a strip of acetate so that it appears to be flying:
I really enjoyed making this type of card although decorating it with the flowers was a little fiddly. I think I will be making this style of card quite a few times for friends.
