My New Year Challenge Card # 2 - double cut Florence Die

First up, I have joined a 10 day blog makeover challenge so things are going to be changing here in my little corner of the blog world. I have also just set up a Facebook page for crafty things so if you are on FB please pop by and see me - I would love to see any crafty makes you have and happy for you to share your blog links etc. Here's the link: Tattypuds on Facebook

If you are not a regular visitor to my blog then just a quick explanation about today's post - I have set myself a project to see how many card styles I can create with one Edge'able type Die. I have chosen the Die'Sire Create A Card Florence Die from Crafter's Companion.

This is card #2 - It's a 6" x 6" card and I have used the Die on both side edges this time. Backing paper on the inside which really highlights the die cut. A matching strip of paper down the front centre panel and again I have used flowers to decorate. I have used a Birthday sentiment but I think this could be used for any occasion.

My only recommendation if you make this card and want to put a paper panel down the centre, is to just spend time to line the Die up on both sides otherwise the centre could be unequal and a panel would really highlight this.

I think I may pop an extra tab on my blog to show each style off so it's easier to see them.

Items used:
Die'Sire Create A Card Florence Die
Die'Sire Wildflower Trio
Die'Sire Flowers for all Occasions 3
Cream Card
Distress Inks
Pearls & Gem
Ribbon
Paper from stash
