My first Christmas Card of the year

Every year I tell myself that I am going to start making my Christmas cards early and a good indication as to when I should start is when my fellow bloggers start showing their gorgeous Christmas cards. And then each year I suddenly find that it's December and I haven't done anything.

This year though is going to be different though because this year I got the new Die'Sire Create-A-Card dies from Crafter's Companion to play with and there are so many different things you can do with them.

So the new launch is tonight at 8pm on Hochanda and here is one of the cards I made for the show:

With the new Create-A-Card 'Ornate Snowflake' you actually get six dies with this pack. The gorgeous detail on the side of the stepper is one of the dies that allows you to cut into the card but this also comes with an outer die so you can have strips of them (I haven't explained this very well but if you tune into Hochanda to watch the shows you will see what I mean). There is also a large and small snowflake (the large one I have used to cut into the centre of the card).

This is a simple stepper card but if you put a tealight in between the card the results are amazing, especially if you use glitter card as the backing paper. I don't have a photo to show you but it really does twinkle.

Thank you for popping by, take care everyone x
