Die'sire Edge'able 'Renaissance' - Sparkly Silver Congratulations Card

This card is all made using black card, I used Silver Gilding Wax which gives it a metal look and Holographic Embossing Powder which gives it sparkle. I don't think it's shown very well in the photo but it really does sparkle when the light catches it (the second photo shows this better).

I have blogged about a frame card before and this one was made the same way.

Make a base card measuring 5" x 5". Cut another panel out measuring 8" x 8" and die cut three of the edges using the Renaissance Edge'able die. Apply the Gilding Wax and embossing powder (optional). Glue this panel to the base card.

Cut another panel measuring 5" x 5" and glue this to the centre of the die cut panel using Gel glue. Decorate however you like.

Rather than using Gems to decorate this time I used Liquid Pearls...something that has been quite neglected in my stash for years. Quite pleased with the results although you do need a steady hand when applying.

Items Used:
Die'sire Edge'ables Die - Renaissance
Black Card
Gilding Wax - Silver
Catitudes Die - Champagne Glass
Die'sire Essentials - Celebration Words
Liquid Pearls
Embossing Powder - Holographic
