Things with Wings

We are hosting a 'Things with Wings' challenge this week over on Use Your Craft Stash. Each week we are encouraging you to go through your craft stash and fall back in love with all the things you have bought and perhaps, in some cases, never used. 

For my card this week I shamefully cannot tell you whether this is a stamp or a digi image, nor who the maker of the image is so if anyone does know who drew this cute image please let me know in the comments. The trouble is, I have a folder full of images and some were printed several years ago at a time when I didn't think to make a note of the designer....eeek! On a positive note I did stamp or print this image out several times so I have a few more to work with.

I drew in the branch as the bird was hanging in mid air and I used Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens to colour the image. I also decided to stick with a rainbow theme for the backing papers, inspired by a card a friend (Karen) posted in last weeks challenge. She used rainbow colours around the edges of her card and I thought it looked really good.
